Profile of Murdo MacLeod

the Rev Macleod Now I thought with these Highlanders that there could be only ONE ! So far Murdo and Norm Baikie have yet to try to cut each others' head off so maybe Hollywood just made it all up (again). And lo, verily it is decreed that The Rev Macleod is one of our foremost and talented batsman, narrowly beaten to top scorer last year by Liberty Knight by only the smallest of margins. The work of the Devil I say. Cruelly denied a century last year when hooking for his century his helmet took the bails off (Book of Jobbie, ch96.5... "Blessed is he that doth weareth his strap tightly aroundeth his chin..."). Another memorable moment was his savage spanking of Stirling's lady-bowler with his bat (in the course of the game, boys... tut). This year, having gone forth and multiplied, Murdo has been less present (even with our rain depleted fixtures), notable contribution was the Teatime Sermon of the Divine Cheese Sandwich at Stirling. I believe there is a wicket-keeper and potential bowler there somewhere. The Lord moves in mysterious ways.
