| Best Sporting Moment? | Probably the 5-1 drubbing of Germany in Munich and the recent (was then) defeat of the Argies and assoc Tartan Argies was nice. |
| Best Personal Sporting Moment/Achievement? | Scoring the winning runs to defeat Heriots in THAT match for DAFS as it looked like we could lose it at one point. Coupled with JJ telling the shell-shocked Heriots fielders to "Take your Defeat Like a Man" was just a magical moment. First ever 50 - for Rustington 2 CC in 1989 v Angmering. Now just has to be us winning Parks Trophy 2004, me contributing a m.o.m 67 not out then seeing our boys utterly destroy Maccabi with the ball. Magical. |

| Significant/Tenous Claim to Fame (if any)? | Me mum is related to Ann Packer and Bobby Brightwell of Tokyo Olympics Double Gold medallists fame- their sons played footie- Man City and one even had a wee spell at Stoke. Pissed alongside Mick Hucknell (Simply Red) in Manchester bar toilet in 1989. He has not much to boast about (says Mick). |
