A close Scouse-Geordie colleague of Andy writes.... "What can be said about Andy that the National press hasn't said already? The magic 100 wicket figure for our third team in all its guises achieved this season - covered by the press! His love of the tradition of making cricket teas - no let's not even go there! We could question his football allegiance... Brentford? Then why do we see AP taking a "march" to Glasgow every other Saturday in the winter? We could also talk about his sudden interest in gardening and why he is specialising in the botanical species of Fife!? Andy is also a qualified umpire and can be regularly seen annoying Gus McLean with his total disbelief of people being out LBW! (however photo evidence of a Piggott lbw decision shockingly discovered - see left) Taking a step back from the organisational duties this year for the club but we know he'll be back on the telephone soon! Without Andy in previous years we certainly would not have the club we have now."
